The mechanics are fun (minesweeper + Dungelot). However, there is no goal. There is no progression, no unlocks, and no end. You just keep going until you die. You eventually find some rotting testicles (yep .. ) and "bring them deeper" -- they levitate down to the next floor. And that's it. It's too bad because the game is pretty, interesting from a mechanical standpoint, and definitely could fit into this niche genre. But I have to pass. Also, there are lots of spelling and grammar errors. The dev has said they intend to work on correcting them over time. Finally, here is a game that really COULD have benefited from some community feedback through early access.. This is a really great re-invention of the Minesweeper ! And believe me, god I HATE minesweeper. This game is more a puzzle-roguelike with minesweeper mechanics, but without the hassles (as it fixes most issues by offering tons of tools to solve puzzles). It offers lots of replayability : many different characters to unlock, an almost infinite variety of situations and tons of unique items & abilities to use. Oh, and it's quite easy to learn too. Two importants tips for the beginner: - if you find an empty cell (no number in it), it means you can safely clear all the 8 surrounding cells.- you can move around most revealed items, which allows you to check the number hidden beneath. I wish this was explained right at the beginning of the game!. It's with reluctance that I'm passing on this one. It's a rogue-like minesweeper with fabulous artwork.My problem is there is no way to really win the game.Your quest is to find a dead man's rotting testicles.Yes, you heard me right. You'll see them served on a platter...Every time you start the game on that long loading screen.And when you finally find his sexual organs, they levitate away.Tell me, what incentive is there for chasing after a pair of runaway testicles?I guess hemorrhoids just weren't disgusting enough.. We need achievements.. A really cool twist to Minesweeper. It's more casual in the respect that one misstep doesn't blow the game, which is good since you will be forced to make a guess when dungeon elements force your decision on what tiles you can uncover. That's where the dungeon crawling side of game comes into play. Enemy placement and exits in the levels are random each time and a nice roster of characters makes it fun to replay. Sometimes levels will even have special curses on them too, changing the rules every once in a while. Great casual fun game to chill out to.. A great combination of mineweeper and RPG, I love both and find the game quite addicting. It will be more fun ,if there's a daily challenge.
